NaijaWetinDey is a community intelligence and local discovery platform designed to help users discover events, places, businesses, and local updates within their area. Content on the platform may be provided by users, businesses, or other contributors.

NaijaWetinDey does not guarantee outcomes, visibility, or customer engagement resulting from listings.

You agree not to use NaijaWetinDey for any of the following:

• Unlawful or fraudulent purposes of any kind
• Posting misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
• Harassing, abusing, intimidating, or harming other users
• Attempting to disrupt, hack, or compromise platform security
• Uploading malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising
• Any activity that exploits or harms minors

Violations will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban and may be reported to relevant authorities.

NaijaWetinDey may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control or endorse these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

NaijaWetinDey provides information for general discovery purposes only. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NaijaWetinDey LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, if these Terms are violated or if we determine that a user's activity is harmful to the platform or community.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and relevant international regulations.

NaijaWetinDey is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

We have an absolute zero-tolerance stance on abuse, exploitation, or any form of content that harms users, especially minors.

Prohibited Behaviour

• Abuse, harassment, or threats directed at any user
• Hate speech or content promoting discrimination
• Sexual or explicit content involving minors (CSAE)
• Any form of exploitation, grooming, or illegal activity

Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report content or accounts directly within the platform. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. We may:

• Remove violating content immediately upon confirmation
• Suspend or permanently ban offending accounts
• Report serious violations to relevant Nigerian authorities

User Controls

All users have the ability to:

• Block other users, so blocked users cannot interact with you
• Report inappropriate content or behaviour in one tap
• Control who can send you messages via message requests

Protection of Minors

We strictly prohibit any content or behaviour that exploits or harms minors. Violations result in immediate removal and mandatory reporting to law enforcement.

Automatically Collected Information

General location (such as city or area level) is used to provide relevant local content and recommendations. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission. You can control or disable location access through your device settings at any time.

How We Use Your Information

• Operate and maintain NaijaWetinDey
• Display relevant local content and discovery results
• Improve and optimise our Services continuously
• Communicate with users about updates or support requests
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse of the platform

Content you post (such as events, places, or updates) may be visible to other users and may be interacted with (viewed, shared, or reported).

We do not sell personal user data. Your privacy is fundamental to how we operate.

Platform Safety & Moderation
